Ok, these pictures have nothing to do with carving, but I'm sure you'll like them anyway. This little gal was in our lives only a short time before taking up residence at a Wildlife Park with full time care, but really left an impression in a few short hours. Being this close to wildlife, and having a chance to care for it, somehow lets one give back a little to those creatures other humans either take advantage of or just don't care about.  We have not been able to determine what happened to its mother, but highly suspect she was shot by some miscreant landowner upon seeing her rummage through their garbage as bears will often do in the early spring. Anyhow, this little cub sure was cute and I'm happy to share the event with you here.
